Devon Winger, a down-on-his-luck showrunner, arrives in Cat's Paw Cove to convince the eccentric elderly Internet stars to take the show to the next level -- a ShowFlix series. The magical stars are tickled at the idea, but Karmen is dead set against revealing the sanctuary for supernaturals to the world.
Can Karmen convince the sexy Devon that the show will be a dud? Or will Devon realize there's more to the quirky retirement home than meets the camera’s eye?

- What was the first book you remember reading that got you hooked?
I was always a bookworm, as it gave me an escape from my home life. Girl of the Limberlost by Gene Stratton-Porter, was the book that made me feel seen. I identified with the main character, Elnora, who was neglected and belittled by her widowed mother. My mother was divorced and I was the youngest—and unwanted—child, so I was enthralled by the knowledge that I was not alone. Elnora was smart and resourceful; she succeeded in spite of her mother. It was as if the author was speaking directly to me. It was exactly the book I needed at that point in my young life.
- What are your favorite tropes/pairings to read?
Anything paranormal! I like annoying colleagues to lovers, some enemies to lovers, fake relationship/marriage of convenience, second chance romance, friends to lovers, and with the supernatural always comes “fish out of water”. LOL!
- Tell us about your most current upcoming release?
I love to cook and I am always on the lookout for a new and easy recipe. One day, I stumbled across an old cooking video where the “chef” assembled a daffodil cake from two store bought cakes and a box of store bought cookies. The comments on the video were so funny, I was crying. It wasn’t long before my imagination cooked up the idea for my new paranormal romantic comedy, Recipe for Love.
- What is the message you’re hoping readers will interpret from it?
I dedicated Recipe for Love dedicated to families who embrace their differences, love one another, and help their children to grow to their greatest potential. Devon Winger, the hero in this story is an orphan. When he arrives at Feline Fine Retirement Home, he is overwhelmed by the Supernaturals who treat him like family. He thinks they’re retired circus performers. Karmen Artos, the heroine, comes from a big, boisterous Greek family (think My Big Fat Greek Wedding). She’s determined to undermine Devon’s ambitious and potentially dangerous reality TV series that can expose this retirement sanctuary for Magicals who have become like her extended family. It’s a romance, so you know there is an HEA, but Devon is unprepared for his previously unknown family history.
- Are any of your books on audio?
The majority of my books are available in audiobook. My narrator is working on Recipe for Love as we “speak”. She has captured the quirky personalities with her acting!

- What are your near future literary plans? Any WIP you are willing to talk about?
I’m working on a dark paranormal thriller with werewolves and cryptid hunters. Here’s the tentative short blurb:
Hayil Rufus is kidnapped and enslaved by a mountain man and his domineering mother. Despite her wolf shifter heritage, she’s never been able to make the change. Can Shadow Wolf Will Edwards find her before she becomes another victim of the murderous duo or will she be able to tap into her inner strengths to save herself?
