Frankie (only her mother calls her Frances) can’t believe she’s won a “Non-Traditional Student” scholarship to NYU at Pine Ridge. While it will mean moving to the sticks, she doesn’t really mind. She’ll get out the frozen potato packing plant and hopefully have more time with Bella, her beautiful little girl. Most importantly, she’s not going to screw her life up this time by falling for a dangerous bad boy who will derail her plans.

When she meets a private lab consultant on campus, Frankie knows he is the kind of man she wants to marry. Dr. Ellsworth is funny, kind, smart, stable, and single. Best of all, Bella loves him.

But then there’s Eddie. Sure, he is something of a bad boy, but he makes her panties drip just by smiling at her. While Dr. Ellsworth may walk her to her apartment off-campus, Eddie Hyde is the one waiting at her door with pizza, tequila, and a teddy bear for her toddler. And once the baby is in bed, Eddie makes all of her wildest dreams come true.

If only there were a way a bad girl gone good could have her cake and eat it, too...

Monstrous grooms and beastly brides? Don't be afraid of falling in love... it's super-natural! Explore the entire Monster Brides series, one tantalizing happily-ever-after at a time!

Frankie Watson is trying to get a new lease on life, she is attending college in Pine Ridge on a full scholarship and with a free apartment for her and her daughter Bella. When attending a small college previously she was on the swim team, had an affair with her married coach and used lots of drugs. When she became pregnant, she refused to terminate her pregnancy, gave up all drugs and left. Now her desire for a career in medical technology might finally come true.

An essay she wrote won her the scholarship, an essay about the use of drugs on athletes rather than rehab and that is where her focus is on her career. She meets two men, Eddie a next-door neighbor and Dr. Jack Ellsworth. Jack, she met in the lab and is the total opposite of Eddie, but he is everything she could want in a husband and father for Bella while Eddie is everything she could want in the bedroom.

Both men show attention to Bella, and she has grown to like them both, which is a plus when considering a relationship. Falling for each man she is confused, both men offer something special but Eddie, wild and carefree fulfills all her kinky sexual needs, but is that enough. If only she could have both men in one body, but stranger things have happened in Pine Ridge.

Trying to get her degree, trying to decide which man is the right man is more than enough to make her head spin but then the past comes knocking leaving her afraid for her life and that of Bella. It would take this arrival of danger to make Frankie realize what she has with Eddie and Jack and the people of Pine Ridge ready, willing and able to come to her aid.

Another beautiful story in the Monster Brides series, a series if you are not acquainted with, I highly recommend that you do. Monsters come in all shapes and sizes and can’t be judged by their looks, that was evident with Frankie’s ex-coach.

Surprises, secrets, romance, sex, lots of sex but I am not complaining. I loved this story and all the others in the series where women meet their other half’s, fall in love and find a HEA with the monster of their dreams.
