Ty York is a freelance photographer which is perfect for him since he gets to romance beautiful models. Ty can feed his obsession with women but getting a full-time job doing what he loves would be a dream come true.

Beau Thompson has been Ty’s best friend since they were children, always there for each other. Beau is a struggling actor engaged to Holly a woman who is not happy about his choice of career. Holly has money and wants Beau to get a paying job, and she doesn’t hesitate to remind him.

A phone call would change Ty’s life, he is to photograph a runway show for a new magazine which leads to him getting a full-time job. The photographer before him was fired for fooling around with the models something Ty knows all about so when he was asked if you could control himself around the models, he spit out that he is gay.

While Beau tries to get out of all the wedding planning Ty offers him a chance to do just that act as his boyfriend at a party his boss is holding. That party was an awakening for Ty and Beau to their feelings for each other, feelings that when they thought back on it went back years.

With help from the liquor, they drank Beau and Ty gave into their feelings and the sex made them question whether they were gay. Beau has the added problem of being engaged with a wedding a few short months away. Unfortunately, the result of their sexual attraction and giving into it caused them to not contact each other for a while. Was it embarrassment or realizing they may not be heterosexual like they always thought.

Things in Ty’s career take a change, he is promoted to editor in LA but accepting the job would be an end to anything between him and Beau. Beau also sees a chance for his career to blossom, but their thoughts always go back to each other. Beau also must end his relationship with Holly but can he.

Two lifetime friends question who they are and what they really want. Were there signs that they saw each other as more than friends, yes there were.

I started this book and did not put it down till it said, “the end”. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to read a love story about two men who suddenly must accept

that their lives were either a lie or they just didn’t want to face the truth of who they were.
