However, when she falls for him and their relationship blossoms, an incident triggers her lost memories, and she recalls everything. Aquila Hannigan found herself adrift on an iceberg with no knowledge of where she was or who she is except for her name. She is hurt and she has to find help, but first she had to swim to the island she saw and second had to hope someone would find her. Landing on the island alone she was sure this was the end and then everything went black.

Aquila woke to find herself in a bed with a handsome man staring down at her. Everard York is eighteen a fisherman and a sorcerer. She found she had legs thanks to a potion he gave her. Day after day his care and attention made her begin to love him, he was her rock. Everard looked after all her needs and love grew between them and her hopes for a future made her worry less and less about her loss of memory. The only thing standing in the way of her total happiness are the horrible nightmares she has every night. The ocean is on fire, sirens are dying it is a war under the sea, is it a premonition of something that is going to happen or something that has happened already?

Aquila never saw the truth about the man she loved not until he abandoned her on a cold island with a tail without legs and death the only future she can see; while calling her a murderer. When she woke in a bed saved again by a man who unlike Everard seems to be cold, she is shocked to discover that she is in the palace and the man is none other than King Raphael. Once again, she finds herself falling for her savior but she had no idea what trauma she would be facing when her memory returns. She now knows who she is and what she did so how can she hope for a future with Raphael?

A beautiful story, a story of romance and redemption secrets and lies.
