Paranormal Romance Guild

THE PARANORMAL ROMANCE GUILD IS CLOSING

Dear Members of the ‘Paranormal Romance Guild’, PRG and Friends, Followers, Supporters, Volunteers, Reviewers, Readers, Writers, Authors, and loved ones…

This is not an easy thing to do for me, and I have been fighting it as long as I could. But closing my eyes is not going to make the facts disappear, and acting like an ostrich doesn’t make things any better.

PRG has been a niche corner for over ten years. Our founder has created a place for many members who didn’t know where else to go, and her homey oven-warmed croissant-filled love will be something we all will remember with a smile on our faces.

But even a warm Non-Profit niche-corner organization cannot survive without members, and after the famous pandemic, PRG has never really recovered from the decline in memberships.

It is with heavy hearts that the officers had to decide that the efforts to keep the Paranormal Romance Guild alive any further have risen to heights that extending the inevitable is just not doable any longer.

We would like to thank all our volunteers, helpers, supporters, and members who trusted us with your work, your heart, and your time, allowing us to play a small role in your writing lives.

Please be informed about the following:

PRG will exist until December 31, 2025

As of now, we will still honor the reviews and author services that have been requested.

– New memberships will not be possible anymore

– New author services will not be possible anymore

The Website will still be active and up until mid-December 2025 for those who would like to copy their existing reviews off the website

– The Facebook Group will remain open until December, but the status will change.

If you’re looking for a phenomenally supported author service company, please check out “Other Worlds Ink”. Scott and Mark look forward to welcoming you and your work

– If you have signed up for a recurring subscription with PayPal, you will receive a notice that the subscription has been discontinued.

– In accordance with the advice of our CPA, we are paying all vendors per our contractual obligations out of the remaining money in the PRG accounts (which is quite low).

– Finally, with respect to membership dues, pursuant to the Bylaws of PRG, “Only in the event of organization disbandment would membership dues be refunded. The amount refunded would be determined by the current PRG account balance and divided by the number of active members at the time of disbandment. Otherwise, membership dues are non-refundable.

We loved to be part of your life for 16 years. Thank you for your trust and understanding.

Aurora Jean Alexander
