The Paranormal Romance Guild checks in with author Dorothy Grahl. Dorthy has written The Carolina Series that includes Book 1, Mountain Blaze, and Book 2, Island Heat. She certainly has intimate knowledge of the locals and the varied settings (from coast to mountains) since she lives with her family in South Carolina. But she’s also well-travelled. Her visits to New Orleans, better known as the Big Easy, have been keen research for several suspenseful books set in Louisianna. Some of her books are filled with ghosts and witches, some are not. But all have enough mysteries to solve and more than a hint of heat.
ABOUT DEBBY GRAHL
Award-winning author Debby Grahl writes contemporary romance with elements of suspense — and sometimes ghosts or witches. She lives on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, with her husband, David. Besides writing, she enjoys biking, walking on the beach, and a glass of wine at sunset. Her favorite places to visit are New Orleans, New York City, Captiva Island in Florida, the Cotswolds of England, and her home state of Michigan.
She is a history buff who also enjoys reading murder mysteries, time travel, and, of course, romance. Visually impaired since childhood by Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), she uses screen-reading software to research and write her books. Her latest book is Island Heat, the second book in her The Carolina series. The first book in the series is Mountain Blaze. Her other books are His Magic Touch, Decorated to Death, Rue Toulouse, and The Silver Crescent. Debby also has stories in several anthologies.
