When we left off in book one The Brotherhood Collective and their partners were working on giving the Town of Winterhaven back their Christmas. A huge snowstorm, loss of electricity, leaky roof and supplies unable to be delivered because of bad roads left the town with their yearly Christmas celebration cancelled. Colton managed to call in favors, some begging, a lot of money and contacts Winterhaven is on their way to a Christmas miracle. Only one problem guests.
Jack has been working non-stop on repairing the power at the Ice Castle leaving little or no time for Fitz. Fitz is an amazing character I fell in love with in Book One and still do. He makes sure that Jack always has water and food, only Jack doesn’t avail himself of any of it. When his best friend and some of the other guys confront him on the fact that he is totally ignoring the man he loves and who loves him he finally realizes that he risks everything that is important to him, Fitz.
Jack knows he must do better and genuinely decides to do so. While his relationship with Fitz is healing so is the Ice Castle and two men Fitz is trying to bring together. Operation Merry Noel is underway, and Fitz will do everything he can to keep Merry from running for the hills every time he has to talk to Noel. If Noel visits the café and orders coffee Merry goes speechless and spills it keeping Noel from visiting for fear of Merry hurting himself.
Jack has a plan and it unfortunately involved Ace, now I am sure you are familiar with Ace and the catastrophe that occurs whenever he tries to fix something and this time all he had to do was “fix” the water which would require Noel’s help. A broken valve, a major flood and a lot of wet people is the result of this helpful moment.
Solving Winterhaven’s problem, Merry and Noel’s attempt at a relationship and Jack and Fitz fixing their schedules to be able to spend more time together is the basis of this book and I won’t go into detail as to what happens but will just say Christmas miracles are happening in the Town of Winterhaven.
Wonderful Christmas stories with characters who do everything in their power to make it happy for everyone.
