Dear Paranormal Romance Guild Members and Fellow PRG Officers,
I want to thank my fellow officers for the trust they’ve placed in me by electing me as president. I’m committed to making sure every member of our guild is well supported, and I’ll work closely with each officer to make this happen.
To our members: if you have specific concerns or suggestions, please bring them to the officer best suited to assist. This ensures we can address your needs effectively and continue building a productive, collaborative environment for everyone.
In that vein of a collaborative environment, if you have not already heard from other authors or publishers, we have been advised that Microsoft Word recently updated their terms to automatically enroll users in giving their work to AI, meaning that that in-progress manuscripts could be fed to AI for training. Here’s how to Opt Out:
PC:
File> Options > Trust Center > Trust Center Settings > Privacy Options > Privacy Settings > Connected Experiences (uncheck this)
On the Mac, it’s Preferences > Privacy > Optional Connected Experiences (checkbox)
Please remember to renew your membership to keep your priority spot in the review queue. We also appreciate referrals for new members. I’m still responsible for our membership matters, and would therefore ask you to contact prg.membership.committee@gmail.com to address your requests concerning your membership.
