Melvin “Dash” Purvis is the latest in a long line of professional cleaners. He cleans up the little problems that local criminals and gangsters leave behind and makes sure they’re never found. It’s discreet, profitable, but lonely. Dash can never reveal the true nature of his job and the odd hours he keeps always end up driving away his potential partners.
All that changes when Dash receives an invitation to a mysterious club and finds himself in the company of his fellow not-so-law-abiding citizens. It is there he meets Tommaso “Tommy” Capelli, a local gangster who’s wonderfully charming and ready to sweep Dash off his feet and right into bed. It might be Dash’s chance to finally have a crack at an honest relationship, but the situation becomes complicated when he runs into Tommy again in the worst possible place…

To remind you all I am reading this in real time as each book downloads. Nine authors have gotten together to write a book for this series of the Elite. We have Assassins, Mafia bosses, children in the mob and today K.L. Hiers has written about a cleaner.
Melvin “Dash” Purvis is the “cleaner” Having a business handed down from generation to generation. People have need for this person, especially with all the mob bosses needing a place being cleaned for bodies, DNA etc. Dash works really weird hours and when he receives an invitation to a club. When he gets there he meets Tomasso Capelli a not so upstanding citizen.
Tommy comes on really strong trying to get Dash to meet him in the Men’s room for a Quicky. Dash gets turned off not really being a player, just looking for that someone. Dash is was just hoping for ‘someone’ . Now he gets a call and has been sent to an address to “Clean” 4 bodies and the house so it holds not a trace.
When he arrives, the front room holds one body and the bed in the bedroom hold 4 and surprise at the bottom of the batch on the bed is Tommy and he is still alive. This is a crazy romp through a myriad of sex, fun and murder as these two have to solve who dun it….
KL Hiers has written a funny , yet tongue in cheek horror story of murder, mayhem and getting rid of bodies in a crematorium and I loved it. As I am writing this review Book #4 Poison Hearts by Jennifer Cody just dropped today…. Gotta go
