Melody of Love
Entrapped by his ex, life feels hopeless. Now, he has to teach a mechanic to play piano like a pro. As he fights to save his father’s beloved Steinway, he never dreamed he might also save his heart.
No one could expect Jonas to survive the humiliation of messing up his piano solo, even if he was dumped right before his performance. Now, his need for cash has ensnared him with a challenge to teach a mechanic how to play classically. But, no matter how sexy the guy might be, or how much Jonas might want to make it happen, there’s no way he can teach a man with grease under his nails to compete against the world’s best piano players!
Orlando wants no part of the piano competition when the sexy musician storms into his shop demanding he learn to play classical music. Unfortunately, always a sucker for a man in distress, he finds saying no impossible.
As Jonas and Orlando become engrossed in new styles of music, their hearts soar with the melodies they create together. The question is, will either of them survive the loss when this relationship inevitably comes to an end?
In this opposites attract, hurt/comfort contemporary romance, Orlando and Jonas must accomplish the impossible, before both lose everything they’ve ever worked for.

I had recently discovered Blake Allwood’s books and I was happily surprised when I saw this new book come out. Blakes’s writing style is very welcoming. His stories are felt like he is sharing his own story. Descriptions are vivid, characters are well described and stories are heart felt as is in Melody of Love.
This sweet story was spell binding. The first line as the author explains this book blurb is:
Entrapped by his ex, life feels hopeless. Now, he has to teach a mechanic to play piano like a pro. As he fights to save his father’s beloved Steinway, he never dreamed he might also save his heart.
We meet Jonas, son of a well to do father who was a classical pianist; Jonas following in his footsteps. Dad has now passed and through some mistakes and a bad breakup that caused his career to falter Jonas is in financial stress. His Dad’s Steinway is the only thing he has that is worth anything and he will do anything to keep it.
He is approached by his old orchestra to run a contest to bring in good will and more money. He accepts and the entrant has been chosen a young girl in West Va. Now the story takes off…..
Meet Orlando, garage owner and mechanic and friend of the family whose daughter was chosen. In fact Orlando employs her father. Jonas has one chance to meet with the girl and get her acceptance and the story begins.
Orlando and Jonas come from two different worlds. It is wonderful how the author gives us both POV’s and we follow the decision, the friendship, the lives of both of these two opposites falling in love.
Anyone who reads this book, feels better about the world and sighs happily with such a feel good, sweet story….
This is truly a 5 star read…Thank you Blake Allwood
