Daniel Greene’s life is dance. What it is not? Really anything outside of that. He certainly doesn’t know how to hobnob with rich people or play bartender for their rich private parties, so when his best friend guilts him into doing exactly that, it ought to end in disaster. Instead, it ends with him pressed against a bathroom wall while a hot lawyer kisses his grand jeté-ing brains out.
Aaron Silva is the swooniest. He’s gorgeous, he drips in romance, and the sex is transcendent. So what if he would rather be Daniel’s dream man than talk about work? Being an attorney must be tiring. All those late nights. All those needy clients.

It’s not until Daniel enlists Aaron’s help with some legalese that he stumbles into a bit of a quagmire:

Aaron isn’t a lawyer as Daniel originally assumed. He’s a high-end escort.

Suddenly the clouds Daniel was dancing on get awfully stormy. He can’t compete with other men—richer men—and why should he have to? This changes everything. Well, everything except the way they feel about each other. Can he and Aaron find their way to a happy-ever-after that’s not just another happy ending?

Daniel Greene is a dance instructor, like his best friend Olivia. Olivia also has a side business, bartending. One night she begs Daniel to accompany her on a job which he refuses to do until he can’t handle her begging and goes. It is a party filled with rich men and when Olivia must leave for a while he is left to bartend. Unfortunately, he has no idea how to mix a drink, but he is stuck.

When a gorgeous man comes to the bar for a drink Daniel puts on a show of mixing his favorite drink, a drink that turns out to be undrinkable. The man, Aaron Silva laughs at Daniel’s actions, I laughed as well. Daniel assumes Aaron is a lawyer and a kiss in the bathroom is all it takes to light a fire under Daniel.

The two men begin to date and there is no doubt that there is chemistry between them. The only problem is that Aaron wants to take it slow, and sex is not presently on the table. Daniel tries to push for them to speed up the timetable for sex, but Aaron will not relent until Aaron can’t hold back anymore.

Aaron has kept his real job a secret and has had previous boyfriends run when they discovered what he did, by going slow he hopes that Daniel will not leave and hopes their relationship will have grown enough for him to stay when the truth is revealed.

In the meantime, the owner of the dance studio Daniel works at is selling it and offers him a discounted price to buy it. Now he must get a loan and hope he can buy a place that feels like home to him. It took a client of Aaron’s to reveal to Daniel that Aaron is an escort. When Daniel approaches him and reveals the truth Daniel leaves.

Unfortunately, Daniel and Aaron can’t stay away from each other and Daniel agrees to stay ignorant of Aaron’s career and continue their relationship. As much as Aaron’s job disturbs Daniel his feelings for Aaron override his hesitance.

Aaron won’t give up being an escort, the money is too good, and money is what Aaron is obsessed with. Daniel accepts everything that Aaron tells him, he doesn’t get attached to his clients and if he did, he promised to tell Daniel.

I don’t want to go into too much detail about the relationship between Daniel and Aaron because it is something that has to be read to really appreciate what happens. This is a story about two men, different as night and day, a dance instructor and an escort who must come to terms with their differences.

There is explicit sex and a lie that is the cause of what occurs between Daniel and Aaron. There is no suspense, no murders, no mystery and yet I couldn’t put the book down. Daniel and Aaron’s relationship is the basis of the entire book, and it was wonderful. Daniel is so sweet, a crier and a sensitive soul. He made me laugh a lot because he is so funny and his approach to life is wonderful.

I highly recommend this book it is long but kept me glued from beginning to end.
