Trey’s making hopeful plans with Dewey when his professional life explodes. He and Dewey aren’t in a serious place yet, and suddenly he’s promising to make sports a welcoming place for all people. When Dewey puts himself out to comfort Trey after an awful day, Trey realizes that they might not be in a serious place, but Dewey has serious promise for their future. If someone as loyal and as kind and funny as Dewey is what’s offered, Trey would gladly swipe right for love.

A balm of spring breezes as this adorable novella warmed my heart.
Dewey is working as a barista since graduating as an art major. Working at this coffee shoppe is barely supporting him.
Trey is a Soccer Coach. He s well respected in the community. He is gay and not out in the community altho his bosses are aware. It is this juncture in his life that one of the children on his team is called out as being gay and he is at the cornerstone of having to take that step and stand up for his community….The LGBTQ one.
Both meeting at the coffee shop was sweet….This short story is a warm hug, low angst kinda feel and this is the breathe of fresh air I needed..
