Fritz Bronnley lives to keep his men safe and happy. But since his friends have all found their “one”, he’s feeling a bit surplus to requirements.
A driving holiday through the Scottish Highlands sounds like a good remedy for feeling maudlin. Answering an unexpected call for help sounds like an even better one.
But when Fritz ends up rescuing a tough, opinionated cutie who doesn’t know why he’s been kidnapped, and who’s too stubborn to give up, his heart might be in as much danger as Hollis Crewe’s life.

This White Knight series began with Book #1 beginning with Grant . Book one released in January 2024. Jackie was the second new to me author this year and I realized in the last month reading these novellas of short stories that she is an author I need to check her back list because Jackie Keswick is a keeper.
This 4 book series has four young men leaving the military. Their friendship and need to do something together led them to forming the White Knight Agency. Working as investigators for all realms of safety and help for their community. They live in a large large house split between 4 large apartments and an Office which is the center.
Fritz has been the touchstone, of leader per say. Grant, Rylan and Luca have found ‘their one’ and Fritz is kinda feeling the loneliness in his own life. He decides to take a road trip alone and ride north from London and do a getaway. Strangely enough he is on a country road and is passing a car when he notices that he is seeing in the back window of the other car, a hand making the universal sign of Help I am in Trouble. After some deliberation he continues driving a bit and pulls into a place where he can pull over.
Hollis Crewe was walking to work thru the side alley entry where he was hit, unconscious waking tied up in the back sat of this strange car…..Having this handsome man answer his cry for help was one thing, but he ddn’t have any thought on why this happened. Fritz and Hollis were going to report it in the next town when they saw the would be abductor outside the police station talking to a cop.
Fritz went on Cop mode….Hollis was amazed how competent and assured Fritz was, still suffering from injuries that Fritz had all the solutions for. I loved this story …I loved the series…..I hope Ms. Keswick offers us more stories of these men in the future.
P.S. FYI Jackie Keswick has a 5 Book Series I just Purchased and started . The Power of Zero…..Book #1 Is Job Hunt Gareth and Jack….Looks wonderful.
