Lonely.
Loneliness is an uncomfortably familiar emotion For Chase Prescott. As the lead singer for the band Embrace the Fear he’s constantly surrounded by his bandmates and best friends, but regardless he feels solitary—separate. Alone.
Casey Robinson hasn’t had a boy in too long. Over the years he’s had boys of many types, but none stuck around. What he craves is a little of his own but searching for his boy has left Casey feeling empty.
Chase is all tangled up inside, silently screaming, envious of what his friends have but not knowing how to get it. Then a friend suggests he check out the club he and his boyfriend frequent as a way of getting out of his own head. At this point Chase figures, why not?
Resigned to giving up his club membership, Casey walks the halls one last time to say his goodbyes.
A brief pause in front of the littles room changes Casey and Chase’s lives in the best of ways.

This is the fourth and final book for Embrace the Fear and it is Chase Prescott’s story as the lead singer. Since all the other members of the band have found their partners, things have been different. Chase lives with David and Jordan and when David finally approaches Chase about all the toys he owns and never plays with he questions him about it even convincing him to open one of them.
David has something up his sleeve when he goes out and comes back with coloring books and crayons something Chase jumps up and down over. Now David is sure that Chase is a Little and wants to help him get out of his shell. A phone call to his friend Casey sets his plan in motion.
Casey has always been a daddy but is about to give it up since he never can find a boy that he wants to last but when David suggests he go to the BDSM club and look for a young man who looks lost he will know what to do. Casey finds that man standing and looking inside the little’s room and approaches him. Casey immediately is drawn to Chase and wants to be his daddy, but he will have to gain his trust first.
Chase has never had sex and doesn’t know if he is gay or heterosexual, but he likes Casey and is comfortable with him. The more time the two spend together the more Chase becomes comfortable but he keeps his little under wraps, only letting him out occasionally.
Casey is willing to wait as long as it takes to get Chase comfortable with his little and with any kind of sex but won’t push him into something he isn’t ready for. He keeps bringing toys for Casey and when he brings him books and offers to read to him Chase is happy to lay together in bed listening to the stories.
When Casey and Chase hit social media, it begins to intrude on Casey’s professional life as a professor since students crowd his room to see the professor who is friends with their rock idol.
As Casey and Chase become closer Embrace the Fear is heading out on tour which will separate them for months. Phone calls and face chat are all they can do, which leads Casey to plan a surprise visit to one of the concerts.
Every book in Embrace the Fear, Road to Rocktoberfest covered one of the members of the group and each one was wonderful and shouldn’t be missed. This is a story of finding yourself and accepting who you are and finding love.
Rock and Roll is a hard profession, long hours, long trips on a bus but when you are accompanied by someone you love it makes everything worthwhile.
