Another Release Day for this so talented author. Davidson King is a wonder, creating characters so real and content so believable. This story revolves around Good fighting Bad ……. and around Christmas how fun.
Meeting Mason and Gabe, fated with a unseeingly similar background on a Friday night at a bar was kismet. Gabe walked into the bar and ‘felt’ Mason sitting at the bar was his. What transpired was what could have been worse for sweet Mason saved by Gabe who looked for him when Mason left the club. Innocent Mason was now caught up being saved by Gabe and four other fighters killing his attackers. See how you get drawn in and its only Page 3….Hahaha
Through this we now learn Mason’s best friend JJ is included, the four other fighter’s are Gabe’s Brothers of the Heart and the plotline is revealed.
The book is broken into three parts with Mason’s POV in Part 1, Gabe’s in Part 2 and Both in Part 3. The similarity in Gabe’s and Mason’s background and how they got to where they were now was what drew them even closer as the one enemy and giving payback to their shared pain . They both needed to make one strong stand against all the evil. There were amazing changes in meek, sweet Mason, coming into himself and not being the weak link in the relationship.
The Five Brothers and Jaxon and Mason became The Magnificent Seven…..The story moved so quickly I read it all in one sitting….COULD NOT PUT IT DOWN. Wonder what the boys plan on doing next?
