Four perspectives narrate ‘The Banished Four,’ a fantasy novel with high stakes in every chapter. A jealous werewolf, an uncontrollable mentalist, a socially awkward wizard, and a vampire with no patience must travel through the Mainlands to save their world from a great evil. Easy, except they’ve all been banished from the Mainlands for various crimes, have age-old resentments against each other’s species, and have no idea how to make anyone trust them.
Will they take the risks necessary to save their world—or kill each other before they get the chance?
Trigger Warning: The Banished Four explores themes such as grief, substance abuse, mental health issues and death.

Torrador is a school for the banished where every species resides together. Sirens, vampires, wizards, mentalists, werewolves and animalists all together and not all friendly to each other.
Four of the students are Charli a mentalist, Sam a vampire, Wyatt a wizard and Orion a werewolf.
Each student that was banished was due to a crime they committed and were sentenced by the Higher Elders, banished from the mainland and never allowed back. Then there are shouts and the students and some of the staff are found wandering the halls walking into walls and completely incoherent. Wyatt uses his magic to enable him to be invisible and find out what is going on.
What he discovers is a plan to destroy the Higher Elders and all the species other than vampires. With their families in danger the four set out to warn the Higher Elders and the others that are in danger of being killed. Charli had only just arrived at the school a short time ago and when she saw Wyatt an old childhood friend, she found comfort in having someone.
Orion and Sam were strangers to her but together they have a reason to put their differences aside to save the annihilation of most of the species. They are on a dangerous and difficult mission since they are all considered criminals and would risk death or imprisonment if caught.
Charli is also a danger since she has no control of her powers and has been known to misdirect them causing death. Her use of a particular medicine helps but, on the run, there is no way to know when they will find any. They also must consider that the Higher Elders will not believe them but unfortunately, they have no choice.
Just entering towns, they could face danger; every move they make is filled with danger and filled with edge of the seat suspense. Their path takes them through areas filled with creatures that would just as soon kill them as look at them.
This book was filled with suspense, lies, betrayal and non-stop action. The four banished students are all amazing and grow to trust and like each other hoping that they will survive their journey and bring the one responsible for the deadly plan to justice. But the story is not over yet.
