No one can resist their fate—but they can sure try.
Omega human Cameron used to be a Chosen One™, just one of many children throughout time who’d been selected by fate to save the world. He should’ve died in the process like the others before him—heck, maybe he did—but he didn't, and there was no protocol for what to do with these chosen saviors after everything was said and done. Ten years later, when Cameron begins to get sick, his lingering powers wild and unpredictable, the government doctors don’t have the first clue how to help him.
Deimos, however, might have a few ideas…
Alpha Deimos is a Greek god of fear. He and his twin brother Phobos were born and raised to be their father's sidekicks, riding into battle with Ares, the god of war, to instill dread into the clashing armies—but the times have changed and so have they. Now Phobos has donned tights and a cape and has hired a sidekick of his own, a sweet young omega by the name of Cameron, and Deimos wants him for himself—not just in his bed but also for the power that simmers within him. The brothers stand on either side of a bitter dispute, and Cameron is stuck between them. But which of the alphas has his best interests at heart?
And what does fate have to say about it?

At the age of fourteen Cameron an Omega human was the chosen one designated to save the world despite dying after the job was done. Cameron did die but he came back to life, all that happened ten years ago.
Now Cameron is interviewing for a job with Phobos the God of Fear hoping that he will get it and can stop living on Ramen noodles. Phobos has decided he wants to be a superhero and needs a sidekick and chooses Cameron to fill that position. Now Cameron is living in a mansion, eating good food and is finally happy.
Phobos is determined to be a superhero, and it would take some ingenuity on Cameron’s part to make that happen. Unfortunately, Cameron starts to feel ill, headaches, dizziness, loss, tingling in hands and arms and a disconnect from reality. One doctor could give no answers, so he returned to his handler Barney and the doctor that looked after him when he was the Chosen One. He now knows what it is but knowing doesn’t help without a cure.
Deimos, God of Fear, is Phobos’s twin brother who for three hundred years has wanted revenge against Loki for stealing the love of his life. For three hundred years that is all that has consumed him, but he requires energy which he gets from the shifters he kidnaps.
When he meets Cameron, he realizes that he has all the power he needs and then some.
Phobos is very protective of Cameron, so Deimos must find a way to get them apart.
A battle of wits between Phobos and Deimos commences all for the attention of Cameron. Phobos is considered good and Deimos bad, but Cameron seems to be attracted to the bad twin even though the good twin bends over backwards to make him happy.
Watching as the brothers try to one up each other was entertaining with poor Cameron stuck in the middle. The only constant is that Cameron is getting sicker and sicker and finding it harder and harder to function. He worries if this is because he didn’t die when he was supposed to ten years ago.
This book is chock full of Gods and Goddesses and some of them are a hoot. I suggest that you get ready for some surprises and secrets that nearly knocked me off my chair.
This is a multi-author series.
