The Prescott Brides. A thrilling new series by USA Today Bestselling Author Cynthia Woolf!
Five outlaw brides. Five brothers. They take a chance and each find love.
She might be forging a new life as a bride for Clay, but Gwen has a past. A lawless past she escapes by becoming a mail order bride where she hopes to find a love she could only dream about.
Her new groom is all she imagined. Bold, kind and fiercely protective. But he's been hurt too and fiercely guards his heart. Little by little, their marriage grows into one neither imagined.
When the worst happens and they're ripped apart, both will have to do the unthinkable to prove their love is the strongest bond of all.

Five women robbed a bank and have spent three years in prison, Ivy, Lottie, Maisie, Gwen and Fiona then they were offered the chance for freedom by becoming mail-order brides. The Campbell brothers are aware of all the women’s pasts and are still willing to marry them. Each book in this series begins from the moment the women are called into the warden’s office and their trip to Prescott to meet their husbands. Each book covers one of the women and as of this book there have been four marriages leaving only Lottie and her story.
Gwen was previously married and when things got bad her husband left her to manage on her own until she found out he was killed. With no options open to her she became a prostitute her participation in the robbery was to get enough money to pay off her contract with Jonas Riley. Clay has chosen Gwen to be his bride and of course it did occur to him that as a prostitute consummating their marriage would be easy-peasy. What he never expected was that his new bride would not sleep with him until he courted her, despite being a prostitute she knows she deserves respect and will never give her body to anyone again unless they treated her right.
Clay is more than willing to court his wife and buys enough gifts to give her every day for a week hoping that he will prove himself. Gwen does begin to weaken and finally decided it was time to be together as man and wife. Unfortunately, now that they were both naked and ready Jonas Riley came, shot Clay in the leg and kidnapped Gwen. Gwen made it clear that she would die before violating her vows to her husband by sleeping with another man or men. She knows that she has fallen in love with Clay and knows in her heart that he will find her.
Every time a chance arises where Gwen could attempt escape, she fears that innocent people will die because of her especially a young pregnant girl ready to give birth. Gwen knows she needs to be available when the baby is ready to be delivered and she would not leave her. At every turn Gwen finds herself unable to free herself even at the brothel she fears for the safety of a young girl she was always attached to.
A lot has happened between Clay and Gwen and none of it good, but she waits refusing to give in to Jonas demands. How long can she hold out, how long before Clay finds her, if he finds her, well if you are familiar with Ms. Woolf and her books then I am pretty sure you can figure it out.
I now look forward to book five, another story of a mail-order bride finding love and putting her past behind her.
