When Harper Whitmore was at her uncle’s funeral, the uncle who mentored her and gave her a position in his company, she saw a handsome, well-dressed man who caught her attention. Her uncle had one client the major income of the law practice and now she finds herself taking his place.

Harper had no idea what she was in for when she met the client, Angelo St. Christian, a billionaire set in his ways and expects Harper to work out of his home and stay over when necessary. She knows that turning this down would cost her job, but she is determined to prove herself.

Harper is spontaneous, a lifetime of being left by her parents whose work came first and a boyfriend who left when he didn’t get into Yale like she did. She isn’t sure about having to stay in Angelo’s home, but she may have no choice in the matter.

Angelo is a sex demon his mother was an angel and his father a demon and when his father killed his mother Angelo killed his father. His action caused him to be banished to the human world, something that is torture to him since he is an empath and feels all the emotions around him.

Then Angelo realized his father wasn’t dead and wanted Angelo to return to Hell something he refuses to do. As a sex demon Angelo has a house full of fallen angels one of which, Terra has been with him for ten years. The more Angelo sees Harper the more he wants her, something he never expected to happen. His fallen angels are moved out, but Terra will not go willingly, and she will not stop causing trouble now that she realizes how important Harper is to him.

His father Koradon won’t stop trying to pressure Angelo into joining him and that puts a target on Harper’s back. His love for Harper grows and she is in danger unaware of what Angelo is.

This was a wonderful story, vampires, demons, fallen angels, suspense, romance and sex. Although I am not a fan of cliffhangers this one did finish the story line leaving it clear that there is more to come.

The romance between Angelo and Harper was hot and her sister Kiki was a wonderful character. Angelo is surrounded by people who are loyal and devoted. If demons are your thing don’t miss this one.
