YAY!!! More Ellery, More Jackson. And to twist a phrase- this is one fine kettle of fish.
This book continues the adventures of attorney Ellery Cramer and PI Jackson Rivers. While these two men want nothing more that a little bit of well deserved peace, the hornets nest their previous investigations have stirred up, literally come back to bite them.
Military experiments, assassins, psychics, and family drama- these guys face it all. In the middle of all of this, Amy Lane delves into the lives of these men and we get to see them more vulnerable than ever before. Add in the personalities of Ace, Sonny, Ernie and Burton and it gets explosive! (That’s a teaser y’all)
This book draws you in with the first line and doesn’t let you go for even a second. The action is riveting and the romance is swoon worthy. The interactions between the two main characters are genuine, with both sweet romantic moments and sex scenes that are steamy. This book does not hit a single off note. Cannot wait to see what happens next.
