Another visit to Pine Ridge, a place where magical creatures and humans co-exist. A place where Minerva (Minnie) Johnson and Craig MacPherson meet.
Craig and Minnie work at the same hospital and Craig has had a crush on her since the first time he saw her. They are work friends, but Craig wants so much more but his secret of being a Wulver, part human with a wolf’s face keeps him from trying to make their relationship more.
Minnie’s cousin is getting married at a luxurious resort in Florida, a cousin who is ten years younger than her and something her mother doesn’t let her forget. Minnie faces constant harassment from her mom and dad over not having a boyfriend and not being married. When her mom decides to play matchmaker at the wedding Minnie decides she needs a plus one and Craig is who she picks.
Craig and Minnie have been colleagues for five years. Minnie requests Craig to pose as her boyfriend for a week, which is the duration of the festivities. With six weeks remaining until the wedding, Craig diligently learns about her family. Everything appears to be proceeding favorably until they are assigned a single room to share.
One room, one bed and trying to keep his feelings hidden seems to be a very hard thing to do. Her family really likes and approves of Craig and Minnie wonders why she never opened her eyes before to how amazing he is and that is the beginning of what hopefully will lead to a HEA.
I am a huge fan of Ms. Principale’s books especially Pine Ridge and can’t recommend her works highly enough. Will Minnie discover what Craig really is and can she accept it? All questions are answered.
