Brooklyn
Vengeance. Destruction. Deceit.
Fortune telling pays the bills. It also allows me access to the most exclusive circles in New York City. Billionaires love a show and I’m good at putting one on. Too bad for them it’s all an illusion. But I’ve learned their secrets and plan to take each one of them down for what they did to my family. Until I meet Kade. He’s cocky, demanding, and hot as hell. A beautiful distraction that I can’t seem to stay away from. But if I let him suck me into his world, I could lose everything.
Kade
Dangerous. Sexy. Immortal.
I’m the villain in everyone else’s story except my own. I’m a siphon—a demon who can take power away from other immortals. But I’m not the monster they believe me to be. I’ve been deceived, lied to, and tormented by my maker. My life’s purpose is to destroy her. Until I lay eyes on Brooklyn, the insanely beautiful, sexy, and devious fortune teller. With revenge in her heart and lust in her eyes, she’s become my new obsession. Brooklyn’s as wicked as they come, and I won’t stop until she’s mine.
The moment Kade and Brooklyn meet, a fire blazes between them, hot enough to burn the whole world down. Both on their own paths of destruction, they are drawn to each other’s darkness and twisted games. Their cravings for revenge could bond them together or destroy the last shred of decency they both have left.
When fantasy turns into obsession and desire is a mask the devil wears to seduce, can it ever become love?
AFTER I BURN is a standalone book in the Immortal Billionaires series. A dark and steamy paranormal romance with a cocky alpha, a strong feisty heroine, and a HEA.
WARNING: This book contains graphic content and is meant for 18+ readers only.

Brooklyn and Kade are both on a mission to enact revenge. When they meet at a gala for wealthy socialites, the attraction between them redirects their focus from vengeance to passion. Brooklyn is a brass knuckles to the face, ask questions later type of woman, and Kade wears the demeanor of a wealthy businessman who is used to getting what he wants. The two disparate personalities create a volatile chemistry that is fueled by mutual lust. The antagonists in this book are built from stereotypical character profiles, so the focus remains on the dynamic between Brooklyn and Kade. This dynamic drives a story that is packed with steamy scenes.
From an antiquities gala for socialites to a not-so-respectable strip club, every setting in this book is vivid and unveils insights into the main characters’ perspectives. Although the theme of this book is about vengeance, both Kade and Brooklyn gain some self- awareness as they work through an attraction they can’t ignore and their own personal agendas.
This book is the fourth in a series, but it works well as a standalone. Characters from previous volumes in this series are mentioned briefly, and their connections to this book are clearly explained. This entry in the Immortal Billionaires series wraps up nicely, but it does leave some enticing hints for potential future stories. I recommend this book if you are interested in a lust-fueled romance between a bartender who wears stilettos and a demon who wears a suit that doesn’t quite cover all of his tattoos.
