This is the third book in this series and if you have not started the series yet then begin with book one. Although each book can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend reading them all, the characters appear in each book and each book is filled with romance, sex and suspense, you’ll thank me lol.
Harley Ryan is a hacker and her biggest mistake was accepting work from Kade, the enemy of The Sons of the Fallen, Lux, Oxi and Cassius. We had Lux and Oxi’s stories and now Cassius gets his. Cassius discovered that Harley Ryan had hacked into his accounts and he knew exactly who hired him. Cassius assumed, and wrongly so that the hacker he was after was a man, hard to believe that in this day and age someone like Cassius an immortal werewolf would so easily assume a woman couldn’t do what a man could but he soon realizes his mistake.
Cassius has had a deep-rooted hatred for Kade since the death of his mate, a death he blamed Kade for. Now faced with Harley, a woman who he feels a pull towards and the fact that he would never harm her unlike what he would have done if she were a man, he decides it would be best to let her go. His trusted companions Lars and Marek return home ,only not long after she finds herself calling them for help with men just about to bang down her door. Convinced that Kade wants her gone and with nowhere left to run she accepts help from Cassius.
Harley and Cassius can’t deny the pull they have towards each other and before long they find themselves giving in to it. Their romance is hot and heavy and it will lead to them discovering secrets, secrets that involve their pasts and secrets that could bring them closer or tear them apart. Harley, like three other women two of which we learned about in book one and two all came from the same little town and all were adopted and like Harley found out who and what they were.
Marek and his twin Lars were absolutely the most loveable characters and they became more like family to Harley then friends. Kade is also full of surprises which I will not reveal in this review but then again, this book is chock full of surprises, secrets and lies. Four women three who we have met so that leaves one and no doubt she will be the star of book four and I can’t wait. She also has a past with Harley but we have a lot to learn about her and who her co-star will be lol.
This series is a must read for anyone who loves paranormal romance, demons, werewolves, vampires, hot sex, hot guys and a mystery.
