This story starts out with a triad of views from the point of 3 characters in three different places. That made it a bit hard to start but the story started coming together pretty fast and before you knew it you were pulled into the story. Sadly, the author spent too much time inside the heads of the characters (this was needed a bit since our main couple were having some similar weird dreams) but the action suffered and many times throughout the book it seemed we were getting a lot more details of their thought processes and the action scenes were rushed it felt like so we could get back to the overdone self-introspection.
While the plot and the actions of a myriad of characters (and THEIR thoughts) were done adequately the action sequences always felt cheated in detail.
The ending was such that it was upon you and done before you knew what was happening and left me with more questions than I could possibly write down here so 3,5 Stars and I wish I could have known why things happened, what happened next, how did things go so horribly wrong over the years , etc, etc , etc
