This is the second Magic Emporium book I’ve read, and I like them both very much. What a fun series.
This is my first book by Rhys Lawless though, and I really enjoyed his writing style.
It was well edited, I don’t think I even found one typo, which is a massive plus as far as I’m concerned.
I enjoyed the world building, and everything made sense to me, the characters reacted to their lives, like you’d expect people to do, and even the monsters made sense… all this together meant that I was able to remain in the ever-needed suspended disbelief that any fantasy novel must have to be enjoyable.
Oh, and who wouldn’t be full out in love with a gay love baby troll? (You’ve got to read it to know what I’m talking about… sorry!)
Just FYI, I’ve already downloaded book two, cause for real… this is a wonderful story.
