Monsters are swarming the world...

And it's all my fault!

The game I've been coding for over two years is finally released. And so are the creatures within and wreaking havoc in New York City.

Roman and I have to stop them.

But before we can, we have to figure out how it happened and who is responsible.

Everything I've come to know about my legacy comes to a head when we venture from the small town of Hamlet Cove into the world of monster-hunting in the Big Apple.

The rules have changed and the world is burning.

Is it too late to save it? Or will we burn with it?

Elven Game is a gay urban fantasy romance with two magical elves, a powerful baby troll, and a cataclysmic event that threatens the dimension.
Caution: This book has a cliffhanger ending!

Book two of the Monster Hunter series was good. Not quite as interesting to me as book one was, but still I liked it and gave it four stars.

I liked the relationship between Roman and Jude, and I also liked how the two characters stood up against a system that was skewed and wrong.

It intrigued me how the author asked the reader to consider both sides of the story. Not just the MCs but also the problems that had caused the antagonist to become an antagonist. In that way the story did get a bit heady and more along the lines of a fantasy or science fiction novel than a romance… I happen to love fantasy and science fiction, so that was okay with me, but if the reader is looking for a contemporary or paranormal romance, I probably wouldn’t classify this book as that.

I did think this story dragged a bit more in places than the first book did. But, the author was covering a lot of ground here, so I wasn’t put off by it.

I can usually figure out what the next book in a series will be about. However, in this situation, I don’t really know where the author is going. I’m guessing, if the cliffhanger this ended on is any indication, it’s going to be quite a roller coaster ride…
