When Ethan Sawyer’s intense attraction to the enchanting Skyler turns into a whole lot more, the popular country music star is ready to leave his wild bachelor days behind. But a serious relationship with a musician could be a bridge too far for the daughter of a famous rock and roll icon, cut down by a drug overdose in his prime.

Skyler has broken every promise she ever made to herself by falling in love with the last person on earth she should be with, a man who makes his living on the stage. When the media frenzy over them as a couple gets too hot for Skyler to handle, she has to take a step back and reevaluate her choices. Ethan’s willing to fight for the woman he loves, but how can he compete with a ghost and the heartache left in the wake of his tragic death?

Even if Ethan can convince Skyler that they can successfully navigate the pitfalls of his very public career to find their own happily ever, how will he explain the secret he’s been keeping about what’s buried in his DNA? A sizzling romance that will make you laugh, make you cry, and leave you wanting more!

Ethan Sawyer is a very popular country music star and wolf shifter who has volunteered to have his band play at a charity function to raise money for a children’s hospital. Ethan never expected that his desire to help with the charity would change his life forever. When Ethan met the woman responsible for running the function, Skyler James he was shocked by his reaction to her, a reaction he never experienced with any other woman.

Skyler was surprised how attracted she was to Ethan but she had no intention of letting it go anywhere. As the daughter of a famous rock and roll star who died from any overdose during a tour and leaving his eight-year-old daughter and wife totally shattered Skyler would never date anyone in the entertainment business, a business that would lead to constantly being away leaving family behind. Ethan was not going to give up and he had a little help from his brother Austin.

Austin and his fiancé Kat who we met in book three came to visit Ethan and when Skyler met them, she was unexpectedly included in a day outing thanks to Kat’s enthusiasm and desire to have another woman join them. Now Skyler finds it hard to get Ethan out of her mind and little by little he chips away at the wall she has built around herself since her father’s death. Skyler is very familiar with what it means to be part of a music star’s life and the constant attention from fans as well as the paparazzi who leave little alone time which she learned first-hand when her dad died.

As the relationship between Skyler and Ethan grows there are still major problems, her ability to accept being with a famous country star and what it would mean to her life and his fear of having to explain to the woman who has become his heart that he is half human and half wolf.

This is a wonderful series with wonderful characters and I loved reuniting with Austin and Kat and finding out what has transpired in their life since we left them in book three. I can’t wait for more in this series, well I hope there is another !
