Forever Winter by Amber Daulton is a sweet Regency romance novella. Susanna Lorican is madly in love with the Viscount of Beckinworth, Camden. He’s been her childhood crush for years. Last Christmas, they finally found each other under the mistletoe and a year later, they’re set to have a Christmas wedding. Sadly, it doesn’t go as planned.

Susanna is a stubborn but sweet heroine who wanted to capture the anniversary of their courtship by turning it into their wedding day. Weather, icy roads, a missing wedding gown, and a house full of Christmas guests complicate matters. Add in a secret pregnancy and a churlish brother-in-law who attempts to molest her, and the wedding is almost a shambles.

Almost. Camden is a sweet and brave groom who doesn’t flinch when he finds out their act of love has resulted in pregnancy and he could care less about the dress. What he does care about is being a faithful husband who has his wife’s back. When he catches Susanna in a compromising position with her brother-in-law, he trusts his bride-to-be and defends her honor. This is a couple that you’ll be rooting for from start to finish!

The novella is short and sweet. It could have used a bit more depth and a few things didn’t ring historically accurate, but the story is so charming that it won’t matter to readers who love romance and happy endings. This would be a wonderful holiday read in front of the fire or an anytime read when you want just a bite of sweetness!
