These days it's hard enough to be a witch, but being born a hellfire witch? That's something else entirely and no one knows that better than Melissani. Half witch, half demon she's one of the most powerful creatures in existence. The fire in her soul could kill Lucifer himself. Shame that thanks to her mother said soul now belongs to Leviathan, Crown Prince of Hell.
Once upon a time the two had a thing. Yes, she fell for the demon prince who bought her soul, and despite her better judgment she trusted the bastard. But, of course, he had to mess it up. A broken heart, shattered dreams and, to cap it all off, a missing sister dragged to hell.
Well, what is it they say? Hell has no fury like a hellfire witch betrayed. So buckle up little prince. Hellfire is coming for yo

Melissani Douke is a hellfire witch, half-witch and half-demon, deadly and seeking revenge against Leviathon, Crown Prince of Hell. Her search for him has brought about the death of thousands of demons. Her actions have come to the attention of the King of Hell Lev’s father. So many of his demons are being destroyed by Mel that he has insists that Lev kill her and he has three days to do it or he would be the one to die.
Leviathon owns Melissani’s soul thanks to her mother who had her sign a document and sold it to Lev. That didn’t stop her from falling in love with him and believing everything he told her until the day he threw her out. That in its self would be reason enough for her to hate him and want him dead but the real act of betrayal by him was taking her sister Faith to hell. Now all she wants is to kill Lev and take his blood to seal the gates of hell after rescuing Faith.
Melissani finally gets help from a witch that agrees to summon Leviathon and when they come face to face, she realizes that she has been betrayed and she is now Lev’s prisoner. Mel learns that there was indeed an act of betrayal but it wasn’t by Lev and now she doesn’t want to kill him but she wants to accept his help in entering hell and bringing Faith home. With the help of Lev’s sister and brother who want to kill her rather than face the wrath of their father Levi is determined to help Mel. As much as Mel and Lev deny their feelings for each other is not love but hate no one believes them including Mel and Lev.
This book gives an entirely different view of hell and it was quite interesting but I won’t reveal any of it. Since Mel, Lev and his siblings are sneaking around hell trying to stay away from the king, they find out the hard way that Melissani’s powers may not be strong enough and what happens is very suspenseful. Through all the trials and tribulations Leviathon faces, his snarky sense of humor is without a doubt reason enough to read this book.
It is hard to believe that a book of demons and deadly witches can make you laugh but it did. Melissani and Leviathon are amazing main characters but the secondary characters are wonderful as well. The story ends with a cliffhanger (I hate them) but in this case I just want the next book in the series to come out and hopefully the wait will not be too long (please).
