The Heroes with Heat and Heart series is published yearly in June with proceeds during release week going to Wounded Warriors Project. Even though most of the reviews I read for this book were rating individual stories I will rate each story to give the authors their deserved recognition and to tempt readers because some end in cliffhangers and will give the readers a chance to know where they can continue to follow the stories. Regardless these romance anthologies are for a worthy cause and that alone is reason to buy them.
Queen of Diamonds: CarinaAlyce – 4****Stars
This is one of the stories that end in a cliffhanger, and it held my interest enough to want to follow up on what happens to the main characters, Jordan Novak, ex-Delta Force and now police detective and Claudia his love interest and possible thief.

A sweet romance that begins with a letter going to the wrong address. Frank wrote to his mother, but it went into Violet’s mailbox. She knew there was a war on and sent Frank a letter advising him of what happened in addition to including the original letter. Their romance began with letters, and it is no different than today when people write using a computer.
This was an amazing anthology and an amazing cause. This reminded me of speed dating where I got a chance to sample various authors’ works and now have so many more books and authors to add to my to favorites list.
