Happily ever after is right under their noses.

Harris has been keeping a big secret for years—his unrequited mate bond with his best friend, Jackson. He’s convinced himself that having Jackson in his life is enough. That, and his work at Camp H.O.W.L., keeps him going.

Things get complicated when Jackson applies for a high-ranking Tribunal job in New York City—far from Camp H.O.W.L. The position requires he relinquish all Pack bonds… and that’s when his wolf decides to choose a mate. Suddenly Jackson sees his best friend in a sizzling new light.

Their chemistry is through the roof, but they're setting themselves up for broken hearts—and broken bonds—if Jackson can't figure out a way to balance his career and the love that’s just been waiting for him to take notice.

We have read a lot about Harris in the first two books and I am so happy that we finally get his story. For years he has had a mate bond with Jackson, Drew’s step-brother but Jackson only saw them as best friends. Jackson’s career and his desire to become a Regional Enforcer for the Tribunal has been all he is focused on and definitely not a relationship or mating with anyone. As a Regional Enforcer he has to cut all ties with everyone including his pack.

A new high profile wolfling is coming to the Camp and means all manner of upgrades to their security. Candice Bachman is a famous actress and it is imperative that her stay at the Camp be safe for her and the other wolflings. Jackson and Jordan run Fang and Fury a security firm so he is spending time at the Camp upgrading their system and it is getting harder and harder for Harris to hide his secret of his mate bond.

Jackson begins to feel a connection with Harris that has nothing to do with friendship and he finally accepts that Harris is his mate but is still unwilling to give up his dream of becoming a Regional Enforcer. He would be more than happy to be with Harris for now but there is no immediate future for them. Jackson dreams of one day becoming a Second in a pack and he needs to be a Regional Enforcer to ensure that happens.

This book follows the lives of the characters from books one and two, we find out what they are doing and we also have the introduction of various other supernatural creatures. Candice’s stay at the Camp has brought with it all kinds of problems especially when one of the staff recently fired betrays everyone.

This is the last book in this series although that author does indicate that it is not the last we will hear about Camp H.O.W.L. This book had sex, romance, betrayal and suspense. Although the books do not have to be read in order I highly recommend doing so because all the characters appear in each book and you would be missing out on some wonderful reading.
