This series just gets better and better and must be read in order. Grimdarke James is now the President, and he has chosen Kit to be his queen. Of course, if you are familiar with this series then you know that a day without problems is a rare day indeed.
Kit has to learn to accept her new role as the queen which means the Mollys fall under her control and getting the members to accept her is imperative. Grim is ready to introduce her to everyone as his mate and when he arrives in the main part of the house, he is shocked to discover everything is set up for a celebration.
Kit’s best friend Chante and Mr. Asorav, the vampire, have set up for Grim and Kit’s wedding, which is news to him and Kit. Grim has called for a moratorium so there will be no deaths during the wedding festivities. Grim is sure that Reaper will attend but unfortunately, his revenge will have to wait.
Friends and enemies are all gathered for the happy event, all itching to get to the moment that they are not tied down and can free their beasts. Kit is preparing for the big day until someone imprisons her in a place where she is unable to shift, making Kat a very unhappy cat.
Grim is suffering from severe migraine headaches but refuses to take the medication prescribed for him since it makes him groggy and useless. So needless to say, Grim is barely handling everything going on around him. He has no idea that Kit is missing and is waiting for Reaper to appear hoping that when the wedding is over, he will get his chance to kill him.
The influx of shifters is scary so many different MC’s converging in one place and each with an axe to grind. Adding to the already many problems is the arrival of a mob boss who also has nefarious ideas.
This series is full of violence, explicit violence that is not for the weak of heart. Explicit sex, betrayal, lies, secrets and some surprises that were out of left field. I can’t recommend this series highly enough if violence doesn’t bother you because there is a lot of it
