Lawyer Juliet Jackson has come head to head with Sergeant Jesse Burns on numerous occasions in court. He is provoking. Pigheaded. Punch-worthy. They don't get along. Not one little bit. The unfortunate fact he's also her next-door neighbor brings her loathing off the charts. But when Juliet's caught locked outside her home in nothing but a skimpy towel, she must swallow her pride and turn to Jesse for help. She doesn't expect the explosive chemistry between them and can't help but wonder if Jesse's as demanding in the bedroom as he is in the courtroom.

Juliet Jackson is a lawyer and once again is standing in front of a witness, a witness that she has had the misfortune of dealing with before and a witness that happens to be her next door neighbor. Sergeant Jesse Burns has a way of irritating her without even trying and that is how it has been for the past four years when his housewarming party turned so loud she had to call the cops. Surprise he is the cops and so were half the people at the party.

Juliet manages to stay away from Jesse until one night her dog managed to get out of the house when she opened the door to let out a fly, fly and dog out. Without thinking she runs after the dog dressed in only a towel since she had just gotten out of the shower and when she finally gets back to her door it is locked, front and back. No phone, locked doors, naked in a towel falling into the bushes and who should come and find her, you guessed it I am sure none other than Jesse.

What transpires after he unlocks the door is hot, hot sex, maybe he isn’t as bad as she thought, lol. A short sexy read and the author’s debut book.
