Skye Olson is a psychic who lives and works in Savannah. She owns a shop called Magnolia Mystic where she reads Tarot cards to her customers. Unfortunately when Skye’s boyfriend stole most of her savings she began to doubt her ability to help others when she couldn’t help herself. She decided that the engagement ring Curt gave her needed to be thrown into the river and the spot she picked happened to be by a pirate ship, the Sea Dog.
Colton Hayes owns the pirate ship and gives tours of it to the tourists but when he sees Skye standing in the wrong place he approaches her. It was two hundred years ago that a sorceress predicted a woman with violet eyes would be the signal for the beginning and the ending of his life, now it seems that prediction has finally come true because Skye has the most gorgeous violet eyes he has ever seen and his attraction to her is instant.
Colton and the rest of his crew are immortal and they were the original pirates on the Sea Dog that sank in 1795. The secret behind their immortality is not something I am going to reveal in this review but it was just one of the surprises in the book.
Skye is instantly attracted to the pirate in spite of what Curt did to her and she can’t seem to stay away from him. Colton is determined not to make the same mistake that her previous boyfriends made and is more than ready to reveal all his secrets to her. He does, I won’t.
Loved this book, I mean what wasn’t there to love, sexy pirate, beautiful psychic, sex, secrets and surprises.
