If you've got a problem, Charlie Kingsley probably has a tea that’ll help make it right.

EXCEPT when it comes to love. She does NOT do love potions.

Not even for Courtney, her pregnant new client who showed up three weeks before Christmas seeking a love potion because her husband was cheating on her.

So, Courtney asked about poison, instead.

She said she was joking. That's what happens between wives and husbands. They get angry and talk about killing each other. They don't really mean it.

It seems to make sense ... until Courtney’s husband turns up dead on Christmas Eve.

He was poisoned, of course.

And who is the number one suspect? Courtney. Of course.

But did she actually do it? Or is she being set up?

It's up to Charlie to sort through all the twists and turns in a case that gets more complicated the deeper she digs.

Meet Charlie. Better known as “Aunt Charlie” from the award-winning Secrets of Redemption series. She's back, making teas and solving cases in this funny, twisty, cozy mystery series set in the 1990s in Redemption, Wisconsin.

If you have read the Secrets if Redemption series then you are familiar with Redemption, Wisconsin and

Charlie Kingsley (Aunt Charlie) who sells and makes teas and tinctures and who will find herself smack dab in the middle of a murder mystery.

A new client walks into her shop requesting a love potion to make her husband love her again something Charlie doesn’t do. Redemption is a small town and rumors I.e., that one of Charlie’s teas brought a woman the love of her life brings her new client, Courtney Fallon looking for the tea that woman used so her husband will stop his affair. Courtney is pregnant and Charlie feels sorry for her but is unable to help her.

When Charlie’s friend Pat comes bearing news that Courtney’s husband has been poisoned and she is the main suspect Charlie wonders whether she is somehow responsible and is determined to search for answers, answers which will send her on an investigation that will reveal a number of suspects and will lead to a case of misunderstandings and a lack of communication all leading to the death of a man who was only guilty of being a workaholic.

When Courtney’s mom comes to Charlie asking her to find the real killer Charlies finds herself agreeing and her investigation takes her to Courtney’s husband’s partner a partner that Charlie suspects and who eventually proves to be guilty of other crimes that could have potentially led to his becoming a killer. And then there is the partner’s wife Tiffany another suspect who would have had cause for murder.

The list of suspects grows and it will take Charlie to sift through everything and find out who was really responsible for the murder, and what a surprise it was. A wonderful story that I couldn’t put down until the mystery was solved. Secrets, lies, surprises.
