Sharon Gale is an enchantress who along with her boyfriend Samuel and their best friend
Eva was sent on a mission to destroy the Snow Giant, but not only did they fail but Eva was taken. Human children on Chelvicerra where they live are put into an orphanage where from an early age, they are trained to fight monsters, vampires, fairies, ogres and more. They were called Justifiers but since the failure of the Snow Giant, Sharon and Samuel have been exiled.
Three months have gone by, and Sharon is convinced that Eva is still alive, and she is determined to find the Snow Giant and rescue her friend. Although Samuel is not convinced, he follows Sharon and hopes she is right. Of course, the journey to find the Snow Giant will not be easy and it begins when a fairy blocks their way and insists on them solving a riddle. The fairy,Felicia, it turns out, is Eva’s half-sister and she is anxious to join Samuel and Sharon in their rescue mission.
Felicia can turn into a giant parrot and is able to fly Samuel and Sharon on her back. As they fly towards the cave of the Snow Giant, they are intercepted by two pranksters, Sidney an angel and Marcus a cupid. Marcus shoots an arrow, and it hits Samuel who now believes the Snow Giant is his love and must be reunited with her. Marcus and Sidney join in the search for Eva and when they discover the Snow Giant they are in for a huge surprise. All I will say is that Eva is rescued but will not reveal anything about how and who the Snow Giant really is.
After facing countless monsters and knowing that there was no end in sight to the danger in Chelvicerra everyone decides to relocate to the mortal world, the angel, the cupid, Sharon, Samuel, Felicia, Eva and two others who joined in Eva’s rescue. Everyone is in high school and leading normal lives, Sidney and Marcus still manage to get into trouble but for the first time everyone is happy and enjoying the peace.
Unfortunately, peace doesn’t last long before a student comes to Sharon begging her to return home because a war is imminent. Werewolves, vampires and the giants are all joining forces to stop the killing of humans and other innocents.
Monsters, evil, betrayal, lies and secrets plus amazing characters made this book a wonderful adventure.
