I love this series that Ms. Abel has written. The setting is so pretty, if I wasn’t a city girl, I might want to live there. The Bluffs, the water, the beaches, the Lavender as a back drop make it so scenic.
Our stories have revolved around the children of the ‘older generation’, who call themselves the Founding Families.. We have met the quiet, handsome, introverted Lamont Price who is an author, doing very well for the last 10 years at his craft. He writes Romance Novels under a female nom de plume of Ginger Peach. This Book Conference he will attend with his agent, is for him to ‘come out’ to the book world and show his fans he is a man.
At the next table, another author has a male model ‘strutting his stuff ‘sans shirt . This gorgeous hunk is also pictured on her new release’s book cover. No one could miss this sexy man, Lamont included. They do make eye contact……….
Needing to get away after his many fans Q&A after Lamont’s Big Announcement, Lamont sees the model also walking into the quiet bar e has found….again the eye contact…… Enter Tyler Dixon.
Tyler has done more than model as we start to see, and I worried about this pairing. Lamont has not been around much and although this starts as just a date for a family baby shower with a pretend boyfriend I worried for Lamont. As we got deeper into Lamont, and saw the baggage he carried I worried more. This could go so bad……and it almost did….
