A cursed prince. An outcast witch. An impossible love story in a world on the brink.

I’ve lived my life in exile, deep in the Forest of Herbs, far from the dangers of witches and fae alike. But when I crossed paths with Riven, the cursed fae prince, everything changed.

He’s bound by a cruel magic that turns him to stone at midnight, and despite his sharp edges and infuriating pride, I can’t walk away. His pain calls to me, even as his presence threatens my safety.

Together, we’re breaking every rule—searching for forbidden spells, unearthing dangerous secrets, and defying centuries of hatred between our worlds.

As his curse pulls us closer to a deadly truth, I realize I'm far deeper than I ever planned.

If we fail, his curse will claim him forever. If we succeed, it might destroy us both.

Riven is the Prince of Faes who has been cursed since birth. At midnight to dawn every day he turns into stone. He always tries to find a place where he can turn without witnesses to his curse until Rowena a witch sees him.

Rowena is a witch that lives in the Forest of Herbs a place where witches do not reside. She is known as an outcast and the black sheep of her people. When she sees Riven, she watches as he turns and decides she can help him where no one else has been able to. When he wakes up, she tells him she can find a cure, but he dismisses her claim and walks away.

Riven decides to give her a chance and returns to her hut where she has done research on his condition. With no way out of the curse he listens to Rowena and is willing to give her a try. Rowena’s mother was supposed to become queen but instead she was ousted from the coven and Morgath took her place. Now she has her mother’s magic and a determination to cure Riven.

The cure is in the Elven City a dangerous place that requires them to travel through the vampire territory, the dragon kingdom and the magical forest filled with numerous monsters. She never gives up despite Riven’s pleas to her fearing for her life.

As the two travel facing one danger after another they become close. Rowena gives Riven the kind of care and attention he has never gotten from his parents; the king and queen and he begins to fall for her. Unfortunately, a witch and a fae have no place in Eldralore, a relationship that could mean death.

While the leaders of the dragons, vampires, elves and witches meet each year at the Great Alliance Festival to honor their fragile peace keeping the realm from tearing apart there is still danger entering any of their realms. As a prince Riven is known but as a witch Rowena is in danger, a danger he realizes he will do anything to control.

This fantasy was filled with surprises, secrets and betrayal. A fae and a witch fall in love putting a target on their backs, but the heart wants what the heart wants and while Riven does everything he can to protect Rowena she is in constant danger.

The book does not end in a typical cliffhanger, but it does let you know that there is more to come, and I can’t wait for Rowen and Riven’s story to continue.
