Kyle Tripper has led an interesting life. Currently the manager of London's famous Club Delish, he used to be a croupier extraordinaire in Las Vegas. But not everything in that life was so glamorous; his ex was a piece of work. Now gun-shy, Kyle hopes there is someone special out there for him, and secretly wishes it's luscious paramedic, Eric Kirby.
WITH CARE
Every day Eric Kirby goes through the motions. Yeah, he saves lives, and, sure, he makes a difference, but he doesn't feel it anymore - not since he lost his one true. But, when he meets wild, flamboyant Kyle Tripper and learns there's a skittish, apprehensive man beneath the bold façade, the best of Eric's protective nature kicks in and opens his heart to a new love.

This last book for me to read in this series Survival Game Book #9 could not have been better. Kyle is the sexy purple eyed, purple haired manager of Ryan’s Club. He is certainly hot, but now we learn of the damage. Susan you ripped my heart out for him!
Eric lost his love in a terrible climbing accident. Saving people when he couldn’t save his lover is how he tries to make up for the loss as a paramedic. The two are brought together in book #8 when an ambulance is called for Ryan at the club. Their schedules almost come between them, then their issues, then Cupid does his thing and it’s on!!!
These two were something together. Kyle suffered from a lover who was an abuser. He now still has PTSD flashbacks. Eric still can see his lover falling from his arms down a mountain and his guilt that he lived makes what he does saving people good and bad. These two deserved so much better and together they will find it!
I have gotten in touch with the author Susan Mac Nicol and thought it would be fun to add to this review. I have asked her 3 questions about this series…let me share her answers with you….
- What character did you fall in love with writing?
I must say I adored writing the character of Leslie in Suit Yourself. I am a HUGE Adam Lambert fan and as I wrote this feisty, cheeky diva called Leslie Tiberius Scott, I could see Adam’s influence, especially in the looks department. ?
Leslie tended to bring out the mothering side in me, as he himself is quite the little mom figure, looking after everyone else, especially Oliver.
- Who was the hardest character to write?
I think the toughest one to write was Jax from Damaged Goods. Not only did I have to dig deep into the past and bring out my inner teen (and boy was that a long time ago!) with all the emotional angst that went with it, I also had to learn what it was like to be poorly-sighted and make allowances for this in the story.
- Will there be another book?
I don’t want to say no, because I do have a plan for another book bringing Louis from Survival Game and Callum, the rock star from Hard Climate together. However, in all honesty, I have no idea when this might be. My writing schedule is pretty much scheduled up till 2020 as things stand with everything I’m working on. So unless I win the lotto and am able to give up the day job, this book isn’t going to happen soon.
Thank you so much for joining me in this review….
