While scrolling thru my kindle this July 4th weekend, trying to stay in the AC in the 115 degree heat I found a book I hadn’t read by Davidson King….How?????? But so happy I did. Best Surprise Ever !!!!! It was a series and I had book 1 and 2 with 3 coming now coming out shortly….The Book God’s have delivered……..
Hands down there is quite a story to follow. The author has a big undertaking in a book one of a paranormal storyline explaining the world we are joining. Black Veil is the setting and Cain is the Vampire King the Boss who Rules his land. Jace is a human, and when his adopted parents were in arrears to the Blood Boss for a loan, he simply offered himself in place of his family.
Brought to live in a mansion, and was adrift since he had worked in a book store with a kindly old woman who was a friend. As he and Cain maneuvered their days, he very slowly was trusted, with Cain began to acknowledge him ever so slowly.
When Jace’s heritage comes to light, he becomes very important to the plot…This was the trigger beginning, this world will have many twists and turns I imagine and I will be there for it….especially with the second one in the series in my back pocket…..
