Bran Wilson lost both his parents when he was twenty-two. They left him enough money to live his life without working but a stipulation in the will was that Bran must see a counselor. He finally gave in and saw a doctor who recommended that he keep a journal, and this book is his journal.

His best friends Anthony and Middy were there for him through everything, their friendship is more like sister and brothers. With his inheritance Bran bought property and decided to build a tiny house. His tiny house came out perfect and as time went on, he added rooms and enlarged rooms until it wasn’t tiny anymore.

Then, the unexpected happened, he was in the shower and saw a ghost looking in the window. Convinced he is going crazy he brought Anthony and Middy to the house so they would see the ghost and confirm he is normal. They did and now he looks forward to her visits.

It takes a while before he can communicate with her, but he comes up with various ideas and one works. He writes the alphabet, and she spells out her name, Sandie. Sandie never stays long before she appears to be forcefully pulled back to wherever she came from.

Unfortunately, this book was too long and slow moving and very often sentences were repeated. I found it hard to stay connected to the story. I don’t enjoy giving such a low rating and it is only my opinion and because I didn’t like it doesn’t mean you won’t.
