A twist even Fate didn't see coming...
Fate offers no mercy. Especially not to those who betray her. Lethal Guardian Aric's loyalty never falters. Not even when Fate exiled him and his brothers from the Heavens, separating Aric from his soulmate. He'll do anything to reunite with her. But when Willow suddenly appears in the mortal realm, Aric's greatest fear comes true-she's no longer the angel he left behind.
Since Aric abandoned her, the Heavens have become Willow's personal Hell. Centuries of bitterness and hurt is a toxic combination. It even affects her angelic powers. When a Fallen offers Willow a chance to escape, she accepts. But shunning her connection to the Heavens comes at a cost.
In a twisted battle of loyalty, trust and hope, what price will two soulmates pay for a second chance at love?

It has been hundreds of years since Aric was exiled by Fate to remain in the mortal realm to complete a mission to save Blaine, once a Guardian and brother, now a Fallen. When he agreed to Fate’s deal, he had no idea that he would be exiled and would be abandoning Willow, his soulmate. Every day he does everything expected of him in the hopes of once again being reunited with the angel he will never stop loving.
Willow has the power of regeneration. She has never gotten over the pain of Aric leaving her and choosing his fellow guardians over her. Each time she arrives in the mortal realm only in areas Fate has assigned her to, she meets Blaine. Over time he finally convinces her to join him as a Fallen and, once and for all, leave her pain behind her. Knowing she will never be reunited with Aric, she chooses to fall only she never expected that when she entered Hell, she would be met by Zath, forever exiled to Hell and who wants Willow’s powers. Blaine was supposed to meet her, but she was once again abandoned and before Blaine finally rescued her Zath had cut off her wings.
Unfortunately, Willow was uninformed as to what happened to Aric. Her belief that he no longer loved her was unfounded. Blaine is preparing for war against Fate. Now he has Willow on his team, and if lucky, he will find a way to manipulate Aric as well. Aric for the first time in centuries sees his soulmate accompanied by Blaine. It will take everything he has to convince her that he never stopped loving her and that he would have returned to her if Fate allowed it. There is still a ray of light in Willow’s soul. Aric must try to get her to return to the Heavens before it is too late.
A lot happens between Aric and Willow and it is not something I will reveal. The battle to save Willow’s soul and the battle between good and evil kept me glued to the story as I am sure you will be, too.
