Never run from a vampire. They love the hunt...

EDEN
A blood thrall contract is for three years. The pay is incredible and the perks are amazing.
In return, the syndicate owns you. The vampire syndicate, that is.

The one thing you can’t do is break your contract and run.
But I did...and now a syndicate lieutenant is hunting me.
What he doesn’t know is that I’m pregnant with his baby.

TALON
Eden betrayed the syndicate. And me.
I shouldn’t still want her. But I do—and not only because she’s carrying my spawn. I crave her with a single-minded hunger.

So when I finally catch up to her, I bind her to me permanently. She’ll never run from me again...
*A steamy vampire mafia romance*

Eden is on the run from the Maritime Syndicate living in a four-story walkup while pregnant working and sharing her apartment with a young man named Rio who was living in subway tunnels. Her fear is if she is found then they would bring her back to Lilith Island and take her baby. She left before her three-year thrall contract was up and was caught spying. The father of her child is Talon a lieutenant in the syndicate, the vampire she loves who made it known he would only mate with a pure blood vampire and did not want a dhampir baby.

She has managed to keep her whereabouts secret until she comes home one night to find Talon waiting in her apartment. She betrayed the syndicate and punishment is warranted but when he discovers she is carrying his spawn he is determined to protect her and his child. He convinces Eden to blood-bond with him which would give him the right to dictate what her punishment would be thereby protecting them.

Talon insists on taking Rio who will be assigned to cook for Eden and look after her. He is even offered a contract paying him more money than he could ever have dreamed of. Eden is on house arrest confined to her rooms with only a walk a day allowed. Her phone had been taken so calling her parents to tell them she is ok is forbidden.

Talon is very careful with Eden hewon’t drink from her while she is pregnant and immediately calls for a doctor to examine her and determine if the baby is ok. Sex is an allowed activity which Talon exercises nightly, one Eden is only too happy about. She loves Talon but he assures her being his mate is not in the cards.

Eden has a lot to make up for and must reestablish trust with Talon and the rest of the syndicate. Talon’s best friends Brien and Cain question his treatment of Eden believing that she should have heavier punishment which Talon seems unable to do. When he is told that he loves her he adamantly denies the possibility convincing himself that he is taking care of her for the sake of his spawn.

Enemies from the past are waiting in the shadows ready to attack, and they do attack. Brien is Primus, and his mate Twilight was the one Eden spied on and she is now in danger.

Whenever I open the first page of the Vampire Syndicate books, I am glued to it and don’t put the book down until it is finished which at times means staying up till the middle of the night. This book like all the others is filled with amazing characters, surprises, secrets, lies, betrayal, romance and sex, everything I could want in a paranormal romance involving vampires.
