Fall into a wickedly charming romance when Salem witch Cassandra takes a wild ride with a wolf shifter!

After I drop my daughter with my parents, I head to the White Mountains for some much-needed me time at a ski resort. My friends convinced me to try a chairlift dating event, but when date after date turns out to be a dud, I take an escape route. Only my skis send me flying off my feet, and I end up tumbling downhill like a snowball.

Ski patrol comes to my aid in the form of handsome wolf shifter Valen, and we have more chemistry than a combustible potion. Chairlift dating was a disaster, but a night with a rugged mountain man in his cozy slopeside cabin is tempting.

Until Valen thinks I’m his fated mate…

Cassandra Capwell works for the Salem Supernatural Network, is a witch and a single mother to her nine-year-old daughter Paige. Her ex-husband, Thorn a fae, a cheater and a liar has decided to come back into his daughter’s life and Cassandra does everything she can to ensure her daughter has time with her father.

Cassandra has a weekend to herself when she drops her daughter with her grandparents, and she is talked into signing up for chairlift speed dating. Since she was instrumental in getting one of her friends to attend a speed dating event it was now payback. Three times she met men on the chairlift and each one proved more horrible than the last, so she decided no more and ran. Unfortunately, she found herself standing on a very difficult run, but with no choice except climbing up she went down.

Cassandra found herself falling with her skis going in two separate directions and her covered in snow feeling like an idiot. It was ski patrol who found her, specifically a wolf shifter named Valen. As soon as Valen came to help her his wolf began screaming at him, mate, mate, and although not willing to believe his wolf he asked her to dinner and the attraction between them was super-hot.

Valen is on ski-patrol and an enforcer for his pack and living on the mountain and skiing whenever he wants made his lonely life bearable even though he has a well-kept secret that he has a fear of heights. Valen felt an instant connection with Cassandra but refused to believe she was his mate. He waited years to find his mate and now he has given up, but is his wolf smarter than him, probably.

An amazing sexy weekend came to an end when Valen burned breakfast and a kitchen towel and was all the evidence Cassandra needed to realize he wanted her out as fast as possible. Of course, that was far from the truth he was all thumbs because he knew she would be leaving, and he wanted her to stay.

So, he thought she didn’t want him, and she thought he didn’t want her and once again they lost the chance for the two of them to have a relationship, they both desperately wanted but were too stubborn to communicate.

Even if they did start a relationship, they both live in two different states and Valen is part of a pack which is very important to wolves. Cassandra has a daughter to take care of, an ex to try to stay civil with and a job. The one good thing that came from the weekend was Cassandra realizing that it was time to begin dating again, but then a surprise knocks her and Valen for a loop.

This is a series that should not be missed, humor, witches, vampires, dragons, werewolves, amazing characters and the perfect reading material to bring a smile to your face. Romance, sex, surprises and some suspense. Each book reunites us with the characters from the previous books and each had their own story to tell.
