He hears from mutual friends that Trent has a room he can use and needs Collin’s help. Neither Trent nor Collin is looking for a relationship, but attraction ignites for Trent, and it’s returned, to Trent’s surprise.

We have all heard the statement at one time or another that “If something seems too good to be true it probably is” and freelance computer genius Trent Marcus learned that lesson the hard way. After his job was downsized, he decided to start his own business, a web development and maintenance service and when he was offered a huge amount of money to set up a website, he jumped at it and now this web site has put his life in danger.

Trent was not aware of the fact that the person wanting this site was a known criminal, Soren Severson and although the first part of the site would be done as a purchasing site the back half would offer every possible illegal desire a person willing to pay could have. When a flyer was sent to Trent in error, he got a first-hand look at what was for sale and as the one who created the site he would be just as guilty as everyone else. Backing out is not an option and threats and stalking soon follow. Trent needs help and that help comes in the form of an ex-soldier missing part of his leg and in need of a place to stay temporarily.

Collin Fitzpatrick lost part of his leg protecting his country and the loss cost him more than a part of his anatomy; it cost him his relationship with a man he was sure would be there till the end. Unfortunately, Yuri saw Collin as half a man and with the sale of their apartment Collin needs a place to stay for a few weeks. He has his own business as a trainer and when a friend recommends Trent’s apartment and needs a bodyguard he accepts. When the reason for Trent’s need of protection is explained Collin is drawn into a situation he could never have anticipated because he and Soren have a history dating back to the army and now, he is in Soren’s line of fire.

The fight to stay alive and to keep the web site from ever seeing the light of day brings Trent and Collin together in more ways than one and each is determined to protect the other. Trent doesn’t see a missing leg when he sees Collin, he sees a sexy man who gave a precious part of himself protecting his country and has to make Collin see himself the way he does.

Another wonderful story by one of my favorite authors. I never met an Andrew Grey book I didn’t love and doubt that will ever happen. Romance, Sex, suspense and wonderful characters this book had it all.
