Still on the run, determined to keep Kit, his mate, safe and trying to regroup, Grim has a lot on his plate. Mama Roe who blamed him for murdering her daughter and set him up as the most wanted has now asked to meet him. Grim was shocked when she told him that it was his brother’s Shiv and Grapple that did the killing, and she was willing to help him and the rest of the MC. One of the girls his brothers had raped and left to die lived and revealed all.
With nowhere to go Mama Roe arranged for him and his men to stay at Craig Navarro’s wolf pack, while enemies are after them, they now have a haven. Unfortunately, along with helping find a place to stay Mama Roe brought someone from his past for him to watch over, Kelsey a molly in heat which made Kit angry. The need to get Kelsey someplace else away from the group is imperative since she is causing a distraction in a very unhealthy manner.
When videos show up showing that everything that was believed about Grim was a lie his men vote him President and in time hopefully the rest of the MC would rejoin him. Reaper and his MC are still active and a threat, especially to Kit and Grim will do anything and everything to protect her.
Asorav, the Darkling has made his feelings known for Kit and Grim is not a happy camper. Has he professed his love for her or is it something more. So many enemies, so many threats it is hard to know who to trust but Darke and Kat can speak to each other whether together or apart and even in cat form Grim and Kit are made aware of what is going on.
Making matters more difficult is Clay’s will and trying to read it. Clay had dyslexia and his writing is impossible to make out, but everyone expects there is something important in the document if they live long enough to figure it out.
This is the third book in the series, and it is a series that must be read in order. Where one book ends the next book will continue the storyline, so it is necessary to start at the beginning. There is very explicit sex, cursing, violence, surprises and secrets and it is never boring.
