Ella Jacobs is a French teacher from Florida and has won a scholarship to spend one month in Montmartre, France to enhance her knowledge of the language and culture. Divorced from her husband and anxious for a new start she wants to embrace everything French. While watching artist’s sketch people she decided it would be the perfect Souvenir to bring home to celebrate her time in Montmartre.

She sees the perfect man for the job, a handsome artist who captivates her and who seems to be looking at her. Jean-Luc Cortes is more than just an artist he is a flamenco dancer taught to him by his Spanish father. Jean-Luc doesn’t waste any time in pursuing Ella, and she willingly accepts his invitation for a night of romance.

Ella has never felt beautiful and wanted, which was exactly how her husband made her feel, her night with Jean-Luc was mind blowing and she wanted more but experience taught her that he would tire of her soon, but she would enjoy it for however long it lasted. Jean-Luc always complimented her, admiring her passion and beauty and began to call her his muse. His dancing was every bit as electrifying as his paintings and she was in awe of him.

Jean-Luc never ceases to tell her beautiful things, he wants her, needs her and can’t get enough of her. These are things she never heard from a man before, certainly not the man she married. Ella found a passion in herself she never thought possible, and she was going to enjoy it till she had to return home. Jean-Luc means everything he says to Ella and being with her makes him happy, but as much as she wants to believe him, she is still worried.

The author made Montmartre come alive, beautiful descriptions of places and artists who in the past spent time there. Jean-Luc paints flamenco dancers, vibrant and alive with color and movement. As a dancer he is very familiar with everything flamenco. His portraits are beautiful, but he, like so many starving artists, keeps waiting for his big break.

The romance between Jean-Luc and Ella was so beautifully written, the sex scenes were passionate and a step above any sex scenes I have read before. Such a passionate story, well it is France the country of romance. There was a lot of sex, dinner, sex, painting, sex, walking, sex, Jean-Luc could not keep his hands off Ella and I loved every minute of the time they spent making love.

This is a story I can’t imagine anyone not loving especially anyone who loves a passionate romance set in a passionate country like France.
