A fan of this author, Blake Allwood always surprises me. His customary low heat MM romance love stories have me mesmerized by his story line, his characters and descriptions of his beloved rolling hills of Tennessee. So not wanting to venture outside one hot afternoon last week, that was 119 degrees I picked up a novella of his called Tenacious to read.
Wow, this Novella which is a switch for this author, was packed with a bunch of everything a reader could want. A clever meeting at a bar with one overly intoxicated birthday boy vomiting on a possible new possibility! We have a romantic romp in The two young men “tenacious” in their attempt hooking up.
Lane a College Professor, and Zach moving on from pharmacist to a Skin Care Formula entrepreneur meet that fateful night, the explosion is heard to the heavens…..to keep them apart. They had everything working against them, with an even dangerous jealous ex……
But that Look across the dance floor was Cupid’s arrow, that was stronger than both of them…..Love CONQUERED all…
