They possess the power to make their dreams come true—but it won’t be easy.

Preston Knight—Elvis to his friends—loves being a vampire. The night he was turned was the first step to him becoming the kind of man he always hoped to be. Now, he’s a rock star. What could be better? But the one thing that would make his world complete is just out of reach. The woman he yearns for has some serious secrets, and despite him knowing that she wants him just as much as he wants her, she won’t let him in.

Lily Grey never asked to be a vampire. The choice was taken from her eons ago, and things never improved. Now, she finds herself peddling drugs on the streets of San Francisco and playing the part of doting wife to a possessive and sadistic vampire with delusions of grandeur. But family means everything to Lily, and she’s willing to sacrifice everything for it…even her one chance at happiness with the sexy-as-sin vampire who sets her heart ablaze.

When one night of passion opens the door for a century of secrets to be revealed, Lily and Preston must fight for not only what they believe in but also what they love.

Another wonderful addition to this wonderful series, this time Preston Knight (AKA Elvis) one more member of the rock and roll band, Lost Boys has found the woman of his dreams, only it will turn into a nightmare. Lily Grey and Preston met at a bar and did nothing but kiss despite Preston’s desire for more. Preston feels she is keeping secrets and hopes she will reveal everything in time. He has no idea that her secrets are painful, and her brother’s life is in jeopardy.

Lily and her brother Julian are vampires turned over a hundred years ago and their maker has kept them imprisoned for all that time. Dorian is a powerful drug dealer and human/vampire trafficking lord who makes Lily sell drugs for him while keeping her brother chained and drugged. She knows that if she escapes or doesn’t follow his orders Julian’s life would be in danger. She and Julian are nothing more than slaves, Julian was once Dorian’s lover and Lily is paraded around as his wife, so his sexual orientation is kept secret. Dorian is a successful businessman, and his reputation is very important to him, he must come off as a family man and that is Lily’s role.

The only light in Lily’s life is the times she spends with Preston even though she knows she can never give him what he wants for fear of Dorian discovering she was with a man. Dorian has never wanted Lily for sex she is not his type, Julian is his type and when Julian wanted his freedom Dorian was willing to do whatever he had to to get him to be subservient, chains and drugs and a lack of blood usually does the trick.

Preston refuses to give up searching for Lily and when he finds her his life will be changed forever. Preston comes face to face with his past which endangers his future. What Lily has suffered since she was turned has convinced Preston that he has to free her, and her brother and it will take his band brothers and their mates to make it happen.

Once again, I urge everyone to begin with book one of this series as each member of the band finds their other half. This book was very sad, and the horrors Lily was subjected to were heartbreaking. There were surprises that blew my mind and just added to the tragedy that was Preston and Lily’s lives.
