If you have read book one, Love to Hate You, then you know Eloise and her new husband Dane. In book one we had their wedding and now we have their honeymoon. Eloise and Dane knew each other for two months, after their third date he proposed and requested they be married within a month. Their honeymoon is Eloise’s dream and Dane fulfilled it for her. Unfortunately, their honeymoon and marriage would start with them keeping secrets from each other, secrets that could destroy their dreams of a future together.
It was on their wedding night that Eloise informed her husband that she couldn’t have sex, something that she should have told him before they married. She breaks the news to him that she is too small, and he would never be able to enter her, convinced he will leave her and be angry, he surprises her when he is patient and shows her that anything you truly desire can be achieved, and it was achieved.
Arriving at their honeymoon destination Eloise’s happiness is bubbling over but then his secret is exposed, a secret destined to end their marriage. Unlike Eloise’s secret, which she and Dane were able to overcome, this secret will be much harder to deal with. His reason for insisting on a fast engagement and wedding is a surprise but that is something Eloise can easily forgive, unlike the other secret which will destroy her trust and happiness.
As Eloise and Dane try to come to terms with the secret revealed in a text and on their honeymoon, it would unveil a betrayal that no one could have imagined. Now there are so many things standing in the way of a marriage of two people very much in love, but some of them are out of their control.
This was a sweet story and the effect that secrets can have on happily ever after.
